Synopsis

El Escuerzo is a feature film inspired by a popular Latin American legend. The movie follows a tense journey from innocence to one’s deepest fears. The protagonist embarks on a path where she neither stops nor looks back, trying to escape a nightmare she isn’t even sure is real. Along her way, she seeks help from various characters: hungry outlaws, war-defeated soldiers, unscrupulous merchants, corrupt priests, deserters, and natives.
