Sinopsis

FOR THE LOVE OF LIFE, the new feature film directed by Gonzalo Mejía, is an 87-minute family comedy that combines emotion, humor, and a story of reunion with a strong Latin identity and international appeal. Set in multicultural Miami, the film authentically reflects the bilingual dynamics and daily life of the new Hispanic generations in the United States. Starring DAVID CHOCARRO (“Mi verdad Oculta” and “100 Dias para enamorarnos” ) and ELENY REYES, the film tells the story of Gerónimo, a methodical man who left behind his corporate life to pursue baking, whose routine is disrupted when his daughter Clarissa—with whom he hasn’t had a relationship for years—is forced to serve house arrest at his home.

What begins as a forced cohabitation between two strangers bound by blood turns into a journey filled with tension, humor and irony, where both will have the chance to confront what they never managed to say to each other and, unexpectedly, reconnect.
