Synopsis

“RISING” is an adventure series based on historical events, depicting the struggle of the Jewish people to make the dream of achieving their own state a reality after the devastating Second World War. Under extreme conditions, a brother and sister, survivors of the Holocaust, bravely swim to the shores of Israel in 1946 after the ship they were illegally traveling on is intercepted and sunk by British soldiers. Carrying a secret they don’t fully understand but which holds the key to saving the refugees, the siblings soon find themselves caught up in a plot full of tension and mystery.
