MUNDO CINE
Narrated in real time, THE BOND grips from the very first minute with its unique approach: a single location and a single day of action for the story, intensifying the suspense and keeping the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end.
Masterfully fusing psychological thriller with nods to comedy, the film offers a seamless narrative, culminating in an emotionally cathartic ending, laden with female empowerment and relief after 94 minutes of mounting tension.

SYNTHESIS OF THE STORY
The plot summary presents a tense and thrilling narrative centered on Ana, who faces a critical situation after the visit of Walter, a stranger with a dark connection to her husband. The duality between the festive atmosphere of the celebration and the imminent threat posed by Walter creates a strong contrast that intensifies the plot. The revelation of Walter as a hitman and his intention to hold Ana and her daughter hostage adds a layer of risk and danger, forcing Ana to confront the shadows of her husband’s past.
The development of personal connections between Ana and Walter, despite the threat, suggests an internal conflict and establishes a psychological game that could generate empathy or complicity amid the tension. Ana’s decision to take control of the situation highlights her courage and determination, marking a turning point in the story. In summary, the narrative explores themes such as fear, betrayal, and the struggle for survival, offering an intriguing perspective on how a mother can face adversity to protect her family.
ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

GONZALO PERDOMO-TAFUR was born in Bogotá in 1978. He studied film in France and obtained the Diploma de l’ESEC (École Supérieure d’Études Cinématographiques) in Paris in 2000, specializing in Film Directing and Production. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art from the Sorbonne University. Since 2004, he has worked as a TV director at Mediaset España. He directed several short films, including “La Oscuridad” in 2010, “El Revés” in 2011 (awarded at the Castilla La Mancha Social Film Festival), and “El Amor Ajeno” in 2015 (Best Director Award at the Mostra del Cinema di Taranto, Italy). The Bond is his first feature film.
THE BOND is born from two very simple premises. On the one hand, it sought to tell the story of a woman who, in an attempt to improve her situation, changes country, culture, and life. On the other hand, the aim was to make a film whose plot would show, in one day and in a single location, the struggle and empowerment of this same woman in a world dominated by men. The tone of the film is also very particular, blending elements of thriller with situations of comedy and dark humor. From the very beginning, it became clear that the scriptwork had to be meticulous and that solid characters needed to be created to carry the film. This approach places The Bond far from a conventional claustrophobic thriller, as The Bond is above all an actors’ film.
